About This Tool
Passport Photo Sheet Maker takes a single photo and arranges as many correctly sized copies as will fit onto a page, ready to print at home or at a print shop. Drag and zoom your photo inside the frame to position your face, using the face guide to get the head size right, and optionally remove the background and replace it with white, light blue or any colour you choose. Pick the standard 35 × 45 mm passport size, 2 × 2 inch, 30 × 40 mm or a custom size, print on A4, A5, A3, Letter, Legal, 4 × 6 or 5 × 7 inch paper, and download a print-ready PDF or a high-resolution JPG. Printed at actual size, every photo comes out at exactly the dimensions you chose, and everything happens in your browser, so your photo is never uploaded anywhere.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, as long as you print at Actual Size or 100% on the paper size you chose. Options such as "Fit to page" or "Scale to fit" shrink the page and make every photo slightly too small.
No. The sheet, the crop and the background removal all happen in your browser, so your photo never leaves your device. The first time you remove a background, your browser downloads the background removal model (about 16 MB); after that it is reused.
Drag the photo inside the frame to move it, and use the mouse wheel, the zoom slider or a two-finger pinch to zoom. The dashed oval is a rough guide to where your head should sit. Rotate turns the photo by 90 degrees and Reset puts it back to the centre. Every copy on the sheet uses the crop you set.
Yes. Choose "Remove and replace with a colour" under Background, then pick white, off-white, light grey, light blue, blue, red or any custom colour. It works best on a clear photo with even lighting. Check the edges around your hair in the preview, and check the official rules of the office you are applying to, as some do not accept edited photos.
Photo sizes: standard passport 35 × 45 mm, 2 × 2 inch, 30 × 40 mm, or any custom size from 10 to 100 mm. Paper sizes: A4, A5, A3, Letter, Legal, 4 × 6 inch and 5 × 7 inch photo paper, or a custom page, in portrait or landscape.
"Crop to fill the frame" fills the whole photo frame and trims the edges of your picture. "Fit whole photo" keeps your entire picture and fills the space around it with the background colour. For passport photos, Crop is usually what you want.
