EXIF Data Viewer & Remover shows metadata embedded in JPEG photos, like camera model and timestamp, and lets you download a clean copy with that metadata stripped for privacy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why would I want to remove EXIF data?

Photos can carry the camera used, the exact date and time, and sometimes the GPS coordinates of where they were taken. Stripping that before sharing a photo publicly protects your privacy.

It says no EXIF data was found — is something wrong?

No. Plenty of images carry no EXIF at all, especially screenshots, images saved from the web, or files already processed by an app that stripped it.

Why does this only accept JPEG files?

EXIF is overwhelmingly a JPEG convention — it is where camera and location data is normally stored.
